Lynn Marmer, executive director of the Child Poverty Collaborative, announced Thursday that the newly formed group will postpone releasing its recommendations on how to combat child poverty in Cincinnati until early November.
Originally, the Collaborative said it would release its recommendations in June.
“The wisdom and the work plan will come from all of you,” Marmer told a small audience at the Faith and Community Alliance’s annual meeting. “We need everybody’s thoughts and everybody’s engagement.”
The Collaborative decided to release its recommendations later than expected in order to gather data and collect input from the community, Marmer said. The Collaborative’s formal timeline will be released Friday morning at a breakfast hosted by the Collaborative.
